Happy Saturday and sincere apologies for only making it around to your wonderful entries by now.

Hyacinths do herald Spring for sure, I always buy a few bulbs in August to be ready by 1st September and also some Daffodils, though I saw they are out in pots already, suppose to bring some Autumn cheer I guess.

As Debby said and I always say, we can recognise yours instantly before looking at your signature, they simply stand out as a very special style that I would love to be able to capture myself. Love them all, but that dear little snail on the Daisy with the Red Poppy takes the title of winner today. *SMILE*Crazy Dane in Africahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17618629033964988394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2082974447292930490.post-13602555118730545462014-03-24T20:20:48.854+00:002014-03-24T20:20:48.854+00:00You're welcome, Belita. You're welcome, Belita.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06595847983368300509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2082974447292930490.post-21251010846211354372014-03-24T00:52:51.736+00:002014-03-24T00:52:51.736+00:00Hi, Belita, wonderful pictures, of course I have m...Hi, Belita, wonderful pictures, of course I have my favorite, but it would be hard to say which. I love your idea of the hyacinth bulb and I love their fragrance. But truly my favorite is the one of the daisies with the dear little snail sucking nectar. What a unique capture. benni https://www.blogger.com/profile/09942386013237815777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2082974447292930490.post-69199426215751119212014-03-23T11:35:14.021+00:002014-03-23T11:35:14.021+00:00bom domingo belita. lovely pics of lovely flowersbom domingo belita. lovely pics of lovely flowersAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11507011085849564355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2082974447292930490.post-82393963651096221352014-03-23T07:51:19.290+00:002014-03-23T07:51:19.290+00:00Stunning captures as always my friend as usual I n...Stunning captures as always my friend as usual I new there were your shots before I saw your name you have such a personal style that shines through all your images beautiful work Belita ;)
Barryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04268292871804653276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2082974447292930490.post-26966504200555432932014-03-23T00:03:52.666+00:002014-03-23T00:03:52.666+00:00Ah, I saw your wording above the first photo just ...Ah, I saw your wording above the first photo just now. I don't know how I missed it before. I didn't comment on the lovely wooden figures although I noticed them and meant to say something. I thought about my daughter and the wooden angels she used to collect and I was off on a tangent. She seems somewhere along the line to have lost her faith and she put her lovely collection away. So when I saw those figures I felt a little sadness in connection with her life, but your figures are very lovely and it does indeed add to the festiveness of the arrangement. I was wondering about the figure on the left. Thanks for explaining. I can see it now.Debby Van Enkenvoorthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15522798556704513123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2082974447292930490.post-66558766337380478062014-03-22T21:53:38.440+00:002014-03-22T21:53:38.440+00:00Thanks, Mitch! They are made out of nut wood and signed by a Slovak woodcarver. Actually, I have that shepherd and two musicians but I thought that three were too many for the composition. The interesting aspect of them is that either they are seen from their back or their front, there is no difference at all.Belita Isabel Janeirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17518127134233195201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2082974447292930490.post-48634440404203747542014-03-22T21:52:13.471+00:002014-03-22T21:52:13.471+00:00Hi Deb! The drawings by George Chinnery, an English painter who spent most of his life in Asia, are printed on that plate and they represent vendors busy with their activity on the street, a very common street scene in Asia. That 'mug' looks as if it had been glazed but actually it's copper made with a special finishing. The arrangement in the first photo is mine. Apart from that china bone plate that is always there as you see it, I added the two wood statuettes and the hyacinth. I thought a shepherd and a musician would add a bucolic and a festive touch to the overall arrangement. After all, Spring is here, already!!!Belita Isabel Janeirahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17518127134233195201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2082974447292930490.post-57015234559403029412014-03-22T21:30:05.730+00:002014-03-22T21:30:05.730+00:00Thanks, Anders! I love the little print of the characters busy at work, but I can't see what it is they are working at. The hyacinth is lovely and the glaze on the mug (?) is WONDERFUL!

The poppy looks very distinct next to the daisies and the snail has found a bower sweet! Lovely shot!

The hibiscus is a lovely shade of pink and the light is just gorgeous!

Pretty lotus!

The arrangement on the table is my favorite. Is it yours? I certainly knew it was your photo before I saw the name. It's fun to guess who's photos are whose, isn't it? I don't ever think about putting my name on the photos here. Not sure if they are protected or not. It's a good idea, in any case.Debby Van Enkenvoorthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15522798556704513123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2082974447292930490.post-22119325043556353822014-03-22T18:06:38.147+00:002014-03-22T18:06:38.147+00:00Delightful wooden statuettes

Ahh yes...the poppy likes to be different to the daisies, but looks like a junior poppy is about to join him. I like the snail, too!! The flower in the third photo looks like a variety of hibiscus. I would say almost certainly that the final flower is a water-lily. All wonderful shots!!MitchyLRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11423634734890422795noreply@blogger.com
