HI ALL AND A VERY WONDERFUL LONG WEEKEND!! MAY YOU ALL CELEBRATE IT AS YOU SEE FIT.
AM A LITTLE EARLY BUT SINCE MANY OF YOU MAY BE BUSY LATER THOUGHT I WOULD GET A START ON THE WEEKEND.
MY THEME FOR THIS WEEK IS 'OCEANS, SEAS OR RIVERS' ANYTHING TO DO WITH THESE THREE, CAUSE THEY ALL FLOW FROM ONE TO THE OTHER. ENJOY AND HAVE FUN!!
THIS IS WHAT THE LOCALS CALL THE 'SCHWÄBISCHE MEER' OR SCHWÄBISCH SEA AND IT RUNS FROM GERMANY ALL THE WAY TO HOLLAND AND THEN INTO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN.
Hi Heidi! Good choice of theme.... excellent selection of shots for it, specially the second from the top and the bottom one, which make them be my favourites.
ReplyDeleteHi Heidi !! Many thanks for hosting this week, a great theme!! Everyone should have some shots for this. I love the beautiful blue of the Pacific in the first shot. Great action-capture of the waves in the second one. Is that a peddle-craft in the third shot? Good shot of the remains of the Sutro Baths.
ReplyDeleteFour great photos. Love how you caught the movement of the waves on the second shot. The first could be a picture postcard with such clear colours.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures; the middle one is just amazing. Color, composition and mood. It is a great shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures and thanks again for hosting with this theme. I like the action in the second image with the waves crashing. I find the third image interesting and would like to know what this means to the German people. I never knew what sutro baths are until I saw this photo.
ReplyDeleteRobert the third shot --to the Germans cause so much of it is land locked the souther germans the schwabens when the first saw it thought it was the ocean lol
Deletethe Sutro Baths were built 1896 and were quite dramatic they had a bad fire in the 60's they they tore them down except what you see --my mother inlaw learned how to swim there
Paradisiacal shot
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and dramatic
Looks a bit flimsy for a long trip at sea
Beautiful shimmering paleblue sky and azure sea.
