Welcome back, Belita, you've been missed. Intriguing shot of the gourd or seed pod in the water. I love the leaf blown against the metal grating; the spiderwebs add to a moody effect. And I am truly interested in the colorful bags on the bottom. I can't for the life of me decide what they are but I love the colors in the light.
Hi Benni! Thanks for the kind words. It's good to be back and take part in this weekly challenge. I took the three photos during my trip in Italy. I couldn't find a logical explanation for that gourd in a canal that crossed a golf course in the suburbs of Rome. I posted the image of the three bags because you easily notice that the design of the yellow one is different from the others..
Welcomme home Belita. Love the contrast of the gourd with a background of flowing water, very original. The leaf is a work of art, suspended in the threads of the spider web. Lovely colourful bags hanging as if they were waiting for a photo.
Hi Belita!! So glad to see you back and taking part!! Your contributions were l=missed while you were away. As always you've provided some really interesting photos. It really is an odd place to see a gourd, in the first shot. The second shot is just beautiful!! I love the contrast between the leaf and the metal fence. The spider web adds an extra something, and making B&W is the perfect finishing touch!! Great shot of the colourful bags in the final photo. What is sticking through the holes in the front of the blue and orange ones?
Hi Mitch! Pleased to read your words. Thanks! Those bags would be practical to use when going to the beach. Those were straw beach mats just to show one of the uses but it could be a magazine, a newspaper or something else susceptible of being rolled.
