Many thanks to Pat for hosting this week. An intriguing theme!! It's one I had some difficulty with, as I've hardly ever taken mist or fog shots.....but then I remembered a set of shots I took of sea mist at a place called Hengistbury Head, in Dorset, England, earlier this year!!
1) Sailing in the mist!!
2) Distant cliffs in the mist.
3) Pebble beach in the mist.
Hi, Mitch!! Love your shots. There is nothing quite so mystical as a boat set sail on a foggy sea. Is that a tower in the background? I could sit forever on the hillside in your second picture, staring out to sea. I love the pebble beach and the people and little dog. Great banner shot, too. Before I came online, I didn't know Wales had a separate language. It is also a beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo is great with that sailing boat showing through the mist. Very similar landscape to the Needles, alum bay, IOW. Misty secenery of cliffs
ReplyDeleteis always interesting and the isolated figures on the beach are something different. Like your banner picture, all I can say is Nadolig llawen a blwyddyn newydd dda.
Hi Mitch! Three wonderful shots for the tour, which pleases me a lot...
ReplyDeletewow mitch love your tour wonderful
ReplyDeleteUtterly lovely shimmering faded blues shrouding the little sailboat.
ReplyDeleteTo find that unfindable land, to reach that unreachable shore.
