Hi everyone, this is Mitch. I'll be hosting this week. Trying to think of themes we've not done before. Not sure if we've done this one previously, but if we have it was quite a long time ago. Let's see your shots of the entrances to interesting scenes!!
1) Doorway and arch leading to the woodland gardens of Picton Castle, Pembrokeshire, Wales.
2) Gateway in the rain. Upton House Gardens, Dorset, England.

3) Gateway to the formal gardens. Aberglasny House, Carmarthenshire, Wales.
4) I wonder where this gate leads to?
Hi Mitch! Thanks for hosting this week's challenge under a very good theme. No matter we have done it or not before. It's always an interesting subject and very interesting are your four shots, as well. Love them all but the bottom one, perhaps because I have never played cricket and would like to try it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wellbuilt arch framing the flowering bush
ReplyDeleteWondrous ironwork
Terrific view through the arch.
Wonderful gate.
That arch in the fist photo is a frame to a beautiful painting. Beautiful capture of the iron gate and the wooden frame in the third photo is such a wonderful natural touch to the gardens behind. A typical english lawn - of course, it belongs to the cricket club.
ReplyDeleteWonderful rhododendron in the first shot. Wonderful contrast. And I love the shapes of the third photograph. Gateways to beauty.
