Many thanks to Heidi for hosting this week. A great theme, one we haven't done in quite a while. Between 2007 and 2009, I took a LOT of sunset shots (I'm not a morning person, so rarely take dawn shots). Took me a while to decide which shots to use.
1) Probably my favourite of my own sunset shots. Taken at Freshwater West Beach, Pembrokeshire, Wales.
2) Another one of my favourites was this sunset behind the oil refinery at Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, Wales.
3) Silhouetted walker at sunset, Amroth Beach, Pembrokeshire, Wales.
4) I've hardly ever taken night-shots. This is one of the few I have taken. Tugboats on the Cleddau River, Pembrokeshire, Wales, preparing to go meet an oil tanker.
Love all your sunset's wow just wow
ReplyDeletethe night shot is superb
of course your bird is cool
Hi Mitch, wonderful banner shot of the bird throwing her head back to welcome the day. Love your other pictures as well; the spray at Freshwater beach greeting the sun, the clouds over the mysterious spires, (I know it's an oil refinery), your lone walker, and the reflections on the water in Pembrokeshire.

Utterly lovely capture of the sunset and lone walker
The Little Tugboat That Could.
Wonderful shots of sunsets with the golden suns sinking slowly where they sink. Love the reflection on the water on the third shot. Even an oil refinery has its charm by sunset. The last shot is really unique. I get you with the sunset and not sunrise, although since becoming a golden oldie I am now more into sunrise shots.
