Picture This #422 ~ All In The Family

Happy autumn to everybody. Here in the US we are enjoying a long warm season with temps still in the 70's (F)/20's (C). It smells like fall. It's glorious.
Thank you for putting my shy dog as banner shot. I'm happy he got used to the beach.
My theme for you is "All in the Family". This can include many things: treasured family possessions or heirlooms, pictures of family members (including you if you wish), pictures taken on family trips, and so forth. I hope you will enjoy finding pictures. Here are mine.

Tea cup
This teacup is English bone china, given to my father-in-law by his mother, Yuli PalcoviĆĄ.

Tom and Cat
Tom and our first cat, Vancouver, who somehow came to be known as Dippy.

Venetian blown glass vase
A gift from my mother-in-law, hand blown glass from Venice, Italy.

  1. Hi Benni !! Many thanks for hosting this week. A great theme with good possibilities. Lovely bone-china teacup, looks delicate (and probably quite valuable now). Great shot of Tom and the cat. I don't know about Dippy......he could have been called 'Scowly' LOL. Beautiful hand-crafted vase, lovely colours.

  5. Hi Benni! It seems the season has turned into a warm spring in many corners of the world. Here, in Portugal, we've been enjoying uncommonly warm days, no wind at all and still wearing shot sleeves. We need rain but who knows when it will start falling?! Love the tea cup, the pattern, the design and the colours make it be the ideal one to have tea from it. I presume it enhances its flavour. I love cats and your Siamese (?) is no exception. Venice crystal glass is so special, isn't it? Summing up, excellent choice of photos for this week's theme.
