Many thanks to Benni for hosting this week. A great theme......white is a very important colour but often overlooked in colour photography. Thanks for bringing it to the fore. It's said that white is a difficult colour to photography well, but I've never had that problem. Took me a while to narrow down my choices!!
1) White Daffodil, backlit by the sun.
2) Great Egret.....the king of white birds.
3) White Magnolia flowers.
4) Although it looks white, this is actually a Grey Wolf.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful daffo.
"I egret that Im much better looking than a heron."
Beautiful magnolia.
It is a truly magnificent creature
Hi Mitch, wonderful shots. The texture of the daffodils petals is gorgeous. What an incredible capture of the egret, such a contrast between the detailed feathers and the water, smooth and silky. Lovely magnolias in the sun, and quite the grey wolf, looks like an animal out of a fairy tale.
ReplyDeleteWOW Mitch you out did yourself what a wonderful array of pics
ReplyDeleteHi Mitch! Excellent choice of shots of fauna and flora in white.... We don't see here, in Lisbon, white magnolias but pink ones, only... No idea where the white wolf would go... she looks very much determined... This is my favourite shot...
