Picture This #209 ~ The Photos That No-One Wanted

Pat here from Switzerland, this time no snow and ice, just hot, hot, hot. Who knows perhaps our mountain snows might start melting.

Finding a subject for our PT challenge becomes more and more difficult. The good ones have been taken and it is becoming increasingly more difficult not to repeat the photos, so I had a brainwave (yes, I still have a brain somewhere amongst the dust and cobwebs of the days gone by).

I am sure most of us, if not all of us, have photos we would have loved to post, but the subject was not right, or they are so strange and out of this world that they would never fit. So the idea is show them to us. There might be a gem amongst them and perhaps tell us something about them.

Here are mine

This is definitely a photo of the year prize winner. Early one morning at the parking place of the local supermarket Mr. Swiss spotted the sunrise reflecting on the shopping carts so said "Take a picture". I did and am still waiting for the prize.

I am sure you all were longing to see what a Swiss drain-cleaning truck looks like and the operators. Well here it is, caught in the action, just opposite the entrace to my appartment building.

And to finalise this selection of rare photographic masterpieces, here is a Swiss milking shed. The cows stand on the platform, the farmer stands lower in the middle and hooks the cows onto the machine. My friend's farm in the village of Oberdorf.
