Some of my fondest new year memories are those from the year Marci spent the New Year on adventures around Dorset and Wiltshire.

Hi everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! Many thanks to Heidi for hosting this week. Her theme of ~ New Year~ can be interpreted in many different ways.

I have chosen to be literal with my photos, in that they were all taken on New Year's Day in previous years (except for the last one!!).

A warm and bountiful New Year to all!  I love Belita's shot with the little candles among the cakes.

I remember the exact moment when Tom looked at me and said, "I will never spend another January in Michigan". So we are hopping on a plane and leaving before it gets really bad. Only 2 pix from me as I am up to my neck in packing and preparations. (Tom tells me there are stores in Florida and it is silly to clean the house for our college kids who will live here.)

Better late than never. A bit of a Stress week but I survived. I am not such a Christmas person and my decorations are almost zero, except for a couple. This means that my photos have gathered some dust over the years, so let's have something different.

I was at the local supermarket for Sunday shopping which was an exception, and with reference to the day probably, they had two donkeys outside, so I took a photo. after all crib and all that jazz.

This is a christmas tree wrapping machine. You put it in and it arrives nicely packed in a plastic net.

I am pleased and honored to see my frigid numbers as banner shot. That certainly is part of Christmas for us in my part of the world. Great theme for the season, Mitch.

Christmas is lights and sparkles; these two glass flowers were a gift last year.
