All things Maritime, well I had to go dig around a bit for this one. It is a shame too. My grandfather was a shipbuilder and I spent countless hours playing, working (as a kid) around the boat house. Always by the water in most cases. But then to go and look for Maritime shots, I find I am coming up short. So I will do my best for this one Anders.
Oh yes let us not forget the Vikings. They were some of the early birds.
Now remember to keep the brass clean and a careful eye out for shallow water. and by all means have a happy sailing day.
oh Randall all these are so wonderful love them all
ReplyDeleteThe sailing ships from Singapore are beautiful. Love the Vikings!! All lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteHi Randall !! Great shots for this week's theme. Love the fishing vessels in the first two shots, and also the shot of the two small yachts with the liner in the distance. Gotta say those are the least-scary Vikings I've ever seen!! LOL.
ReplyDeleteYeah I am thinking we be safe with them on the bounty seas.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots - I especially love the big bell.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had more like that one Anders, but I haven't found them yet. Figured you would like that one.
DeleteWhat an interesting childhood you must have had, Randall! Great shots! I especially love the sailboats!
ReplyDeleteEach shot has its own charm. Singapore shots very interesting.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the banner picture. Looking at it, I noticed something I did not notice the first time. The sail on the rightmost boat is translucent and a man can be seen through it working at the rigging. Marvelous!!
