I am so happy to see that Mitch put one of his shots as the banner picture. Capturing flame is very hard to do, and the shine on the cups is wonderful.
We take our vacation in the winter, when we go to Florida to escape the harsh Michigan winters.
Walking into my front door in the summer, one can see back to the woods behind the house.
Our door into Summer; this is Florida in February, with palm fronds outside the front door.
This is a naughty picture; we had just settled in down in Florida and I took a shot of the TV weatherman showing us where it says "warm" and showing all my family and friends enduring an Arctic blast. It made a nice email attachment.
Hi Benni! Three good shots for Heidi's theme. How wise of you to move to Florida in the winter! Nice front door with those reflections while the shot of the weatherman was an excellent idea that I guess had a great impact on the receivers...
ReplyDeleteSome of them are not speaking with me to this day. Ah, just joking.
DeleteHi Benni I would go to Florida also in the winter brrrr
ReplyDeletelove your shots
Thanks! I am so lucky to be able to do this.
DeleteYou're welcome, Benni :)
DeleteA good idea to change places for the Winter, although the winters no longer bother me so much since I don't have to go to work. I can stay at home if the roads are snowed in. A very good selection of photos to show your Winter life and the reason why.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pat. Winters bother me more since I have gotten older and arthritic.
DeleteWonderful interior

Brr!
Yes, Anders, brrr indeed. Thank you!
DeleteHi Benni !! Lovely shots for this week's theme. Love the soft summer light in your first photo. Nice capture of the palms through the top-light of the door. That last shot, and your explanation, made me smile. That's the kind of thing I would do!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mitch. Glad to hear someone else would send that last picture out. I discovered only my brother shares my sense of humor, haha.
