Congratulations, Benni! I love both the shape and the colour of the banner shot.

 Good theme, Mitch... it made me think for a while...

    Hi, Belita, wonderful pictures for Mitch's theme. I love the colors and shapes of the lampshades. Taken outdoors I get to see the sun on the glass and the stones. Great capture of the chandelier - if it's a chandelier. The colors are very different from the top picture, but intriguing all the same. Ah, the sweet life, a nice picture that contrasts the modern traffic light and a grand old building. We have the same symbol of the man walking, but I have never seen the symbol of the girl. I wonder what she is carrying.

      benni the girl is holding a sign like crossing guards use in the states to stop traffic so they can cross

      I took the photo in Poland, and the purpose of the sign was warning drivers of a nearby school. Thanks for your kind comment.

    I really like the chandelier. The angle is perfect and the colour combinations, shade and light effects, complete the perfection, for me a perfect photo. The various lampshades are very colourful, not something I would see in our country. the photo of the traffic light is also caught at a very good angle, almost an action photo.

      Thank you! I took the photo of the 'chandelier' at the embarkation lounge (Brussels airport). There were several of the same style hanging from the ceiling ...

    Hi Belita!! Wonderful shots for this week's theme!! Lovely display is the different kinds of lamp-shades. I love that second shot!! I don't know if it would be called a chandelier or not, but whatever it's called, I really like it!! Great shapes and colours, with soft light. Nice shot of the traffic lights and the warning signs!!
