Picture This #343 ~ Stairs, Lifts And Escalators

Many thanks to Pat for hosting this week. A great theme, with lots of possibilities. I don't have ANY photos of lifts (elevators) or escalators.....but I do have LOTS of shots of various stairs!! So much so, I had a hard time deciding which ones to use!!

Here's mine:

1) Old stone stairs at Dolbadarn Castle, North Wales.
Castle Climb

2) A straight-up perspective of the steps to the top of a modern mobile phone repeater-tower.
Up The Tall Tower

3) Joanne and the spiral stairs. Dinefwr Castle, Wales.
Hello Up There

4) Example of New York fire-escape.

  1. Love those old stone stairs on the first picture. Makes one curious to know where they lead to. The repeater tower (whatever that it) is an interestubg perspective. A good view of Joanne, no I mean the stairs of course. We had fire escapes like that in East London, but not so unique as those in New york.

  2. Beautiful workmanship

    Wow - really cool

"Should I come up or you down?"

These stairs are almost like pieces of art.

  3. Hi Mitch! What a great selection for Pat's theme! Love the old stone stairs but the spiral ones and the smiling Joanne also please my eyes and so does the NY fire-escape.

  4. Hi Mitch, I made it! Wonderful stairs, love the one of Joanne. Dolbardan Castle is magnificent; gives my imagination something to play with. New York is great with the angles and shadows.
