A great theme and wonderful banner by Mitch. I was surprised at how many buildings I had in my archives once I started to look. Here in the US we don't have wonderful ancient structures (don't I wish) but there are a few newer ones that I have photographed.
The Golden Dome of the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.
Chicago.
Mediterranean style house in Venice, Florida.
Taken in 1969 in what was then Leningrad, the Rostral Columns on the River Neva.
Beautiful dome

Beautiful house
Serene shot.
Hi Benni !! Wonderful shots for this week's theme. Love the 'golden dome' in the first shot. That reminded me of a goleden-topped building I photographed in NY some years ago....been meaning to find out what it is and keep forgetting!! Wow, the Chicago skyscrapers are impressive. Fabulous Med-house in the third shot. The colours are really fresh. The last shot looks kinda mysterious. Gonna have to look up the 'Rostral Columns'.....not heard of them.
ReplyDeletehi benni wow wonderful shots love the last one of course I was there once in 75 but no chance to take photos and Florida house is so lovely love that type and the buildings in Illinois wow tall
