ReplyDeleteHi Heidi !! Good shots for this week's theme!! It's such a shame, in the first four shots, that the old buildings have to be demolished to make way for new ones. Particularly as they look like important ruins. Classic natural 'demolition' in the shot of the sand mountains. I think time and the elements have also helped in the final shot!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting photos. Even the ancient buildings have to make room for the new, but who knows. In a few centuries (if the world is not yet demolished) they will discover what once existed.
ReplyDeleteHi Heidi, great photos. It always seems sad to me to see lovely old stone buildings being demolished to build new ones. Your 4th picture especially is interesting with the green trees above the old gray stones. I hope they took care to preserve the pieces of the ancient church.
