Many thanks to Anders for hosting this week. Definitely a theme we have not done before, so it'll be interesting to see what everyone comes up with!! I found this more difficult than I expected. Going through my archive I realised that although there are some places I have photographed a lot, I rarely use the same angle and/or distance twice. That being the case, here are three photos of the same subject, Carew Castle, at different times of year, but from slightly different angles and distances.
1) At sunset in summer.
2) A very still day in late autumn.
3) In winter.
It is a very good theme and challenge to sort through photos. I find it so interesting and your three views of the castle show how surroundings can change the details of the view: a cold stern castle (Game of Thrones?), a castle in a smooth reflecting lake and a more stormy view of the lake surrounding the castle with the waves. Very good captures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trio of shots of the majestic castle.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures, Mitch, Carew Castle is a beautiful place. Your middle shot is stunning with the color contrast and the reflection. (Oh, and Pat is right, totally Game of Thrones.)
