Sorry I'm rather late posting this week, and also late putting up the banner, but I've been visiting my folks for a few days, as I missed seeing them at Christmas due to my illness.
Many thanks to Heidi for hosting this week's challenge. A wonderful theme she's chosen.....I'm surprised I didn't think of this theme myself, considering I take more flower shots than just about anything else!!! LOL.
Here are mine, all taken at Upton Castle Gardens last year on the same day:
1) Clematis 'Nelly Moser'
2) Geranium 'Renardii'
3) Nigella 'Love In The Mist'
4) Red Peony
So glad you were able to have a nice visit with your folks. Splendid banner you have chosen.
ReplyDeleteLove the shadows on your first shot, beautiful. The detail in the geranium is wonderful. "Love in the Mist" is a wonderful name for a flower. And I can almost smell the gorgeous red peony, my favorite.
Thanks Benni :-))
DeleteVery nice shots Mitch!

DeleteExquisite purples and whites in the first and dark-blues and whites in the second.

Four beautiful and exquisite flowers.Love those corollas and colours. My favourite is the Red Peony. Its corolla would make a nice cup...

DeleteGorgeous! I love them all. I have a few pics of Nigella. It's such a magical looking flower. It's hard to pick a favorite out of these, but I like the Clematis the best. The light, the detail, everything is perfect!
