  1. Some good choices there. Love the old ad in the subway and the old cameras in the vintage store, good shots and idea. The red panda is a little sad, but perhaps he would no longer be roaming if he was in the wild. great capiture.

  2. What intriguing pictures for the theme! I love old ads and the nostalgia of days ago. The little red panda is cute, very cute, I saw one once at a zoo in Knoxville, Tennessee and they are something else. Good picture of him. And so many memories in your last shot. I wonder where those people are. The golden light is perfect for the subject, I think.

  3. Love your three interpretations of the theme, Deb! Is that Arrow name the same Arrow branded name of shirts we can buy nowadays? Lovely Red Panda.... he seems to be happily posing for you.... Very interesting vintage stuff in the third shot... If I got into that shop I would...

  5. Hi Debby!! Wonderful entries for Belita's theme. Love that first shot!! Is it a recreation of a 1920's subway, or an original preserved in a musuem? It certainly has a genuine feel to it. The Red Panda looks kind of wistful, as if to say "I wish I was on your side of the bars". I saw one once at Turtleback Zoo in NJ. Wonderful display of old cameras and photos.....it really gives a feeling of nostalgia.

  8. It's from the New York Transit Museum in Brooklyn Heights, Mitch. Lots of old preserved subway cars, turnstiles, ads, signage, etc.
