Many thanks, Mitch, for the choice of one of my photos to be this week's banner!
My contributions for the good theme you, Mitch, have selected...
I saw this public outdoor ashtray at the entrance of a restaurant in the countryside.
Found on a road used as a public path
Pomegranates against the trunk of a palm tree - at a friend's garden
Hi Belita. Lovely comments on my photos, thank you. And lovely photos here. That ashtray is fascinating. What a pretty snail amidst the fallen petals. I think I would like to go to that dinner party whose host has made such a creative decoration. Now to the last picture, pomegranates are my favorite fruit, rare here in the US, but I love them and have always wondered how they grow. So I am happy to see this picture. The fruit is so richly scarlet, a beautiful photograph, thank you for adding this.
ReplyDeleteHi Belita!! Wonderful photos for this week's theme!! That has to be one of the most unusual ashtrays I've ever seen, and also the nicest. Beautiful pattern on the snail-shell. The dinner-party decoration is very ornate and colourful. Love the last shot, I've never seen pomegranates in their 'natural' growing environment.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Benni and Mitch, for your kind comments.
