Picture This #357 ~ Drinks

Happy Saturday to everyone. I am pleased to see my picture of the moon as banner shot. Thank you.

Here are my takes on this wonderful theme.

Deer and friend
A deer drinks from a stream that is covered with fluff from cottonwood trees. The blackbird was an unexpected element.

Sea foam
Coca-cola over thick coconut syrup which produces the foam. Rum can be added.

Kitty
We changed her water twice a day and tried other things to discourage this, but were unsuccessful.

  1. Hi Benni !! Wonderful choice of shots for the theme. I love the shot of the thirsty deer with the 'passenger'!! That coconut and coke drink looks really good....I think I'd add the rum, though!! Is there a name for this drink? Third shot is further evidence that Honey thought she was human!!

    1. Not a name for the drink because I just made it up one evening. Thanks for your kind words; glad you enjoyed the pictures.

  2. A wonderful selection. The first photo is perfect, as if the deer and the bird had planned it all for a perfect shot. The coconut drink looks very enticing and fun, a good capture. Felines will be felines and you can do what you want. If the glass fits, then wear it.

  3. Hi Benni! Once again, your photos delight my eyes. The deer is very dear, indeed. The reflections and the bird resting on his back make the photo very special and my favourite, though the second shot is very good in every way, the taste of the drink, inclusively. From the ingredients you mention, easy to figure out the final result. That paper parasol adds an exotic touch to the decoration, while the shells make me feel I'm somewhere on a tropical island... Cats have personality and their own behaviour... I can understand her...

  4. Sorry, Benni, I didn't add any word praising the beautiful banner image. Very romantic and simultaneously very mysterious...
