Picture This #363 ~ The Things I Saw

Here I am, sleepy in the morning. Happy to see my yellow house as banner picture. Wonderful theme, I see all sorts of things and like to take pictures of them.

Moon
I see the moon over the tops of trees.

I saw these unusual mushrooms in a dry field. They were determined to come up, misshapen and flecked with soil.

Lizard
Lizard, fence and flowers.

  4. I am absolutely no good at moon shots, just love yours. Strange mushroooms growing in that field for eating or other purposes? We might get a spider in a photo if we are lucky, but no lovely photogenic lizards, unfortuantely.

    1. Ah, yes, the lizards are in Florida, we have none here up north. The mushrooms are strange, and stranger yet that they came up during a drought. Thanks for your comments.

  5. Hi Benni !! Wonderful shots for this week's theme. Like Pat, my attempts at moon photos are not very good. I always like to see yours. Wow, that really is a 'humungous fungus' in the second shot!! I wonder if it's edible. Love that cute lil lizard peeking out in your third shot.

    1. Thanks so much, Mitch. I looked up the mushroom, but I couldn't find one that looked like it, so I don't know if it is edible. But it's big. So happy you like my moon. :)

  6. Hi Benni! What a beautiful set of photos for the theme. The moon makes me dream, the unusual mushrooms look like white goats having rest, while the bottom shot shows us a very interesting variety of things, textures, colours, all in perfect harmony... Many thanks for sharing on here your talent as a photographer...

    1. Your comment on the mushrooms is very poetic! I think they came up so misshapen because of how dry it has been. Thank you and I am glad you enjoyed my photographs.

  7. Sorry, Benni, for having omitted words from the above comment. It means, adding how much I like to see again the photo by you of that beautiful mansion. Good to have it as banner image for this week.
