Hello PT fellows! This is Belita who first of all wants to present sincere apologies for the irregular posting recently due to neither enough free time nor suitable mood... Even though, I'm very pleased to host this week's Challenge under the theme
'C' IS FOR CHRISTMAS AND...
I'm looking forward to viewing the subjects of your contributions.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
I start with 'C' for Christmas Centrepiece
But Christmas is also associated with Carousels...
... and with Children...
...who love going to the circus but many of them hate Clowns, characters who sometimes make people laugh but inside they are sad.
What a wonderful theme! I went through many photos and had such good memories. Mitch's banner shot is great, I loved it when I first saw it last week.
ReplyDeleteBelita, your pictures are beautiful. The Christmas centerpiece is alive with joy and sparkle. Fantastic carousel; the animals are so shiny and inviting. Your capture of the young boy is my favorite; a simple shot yet there is so much in the child's position. Adventure, daring, curiosity, joy. And the poor clown. A very nice photograph.
Hi Benni! Many thanks for your comments...

DeleteHi Belita!!! Many thanks for hosting this week. A great seasonal theme!! Your Christmas centrepiece is beautiful. Lovely shot of the carousel. They are not associated so much with Christmas in Britain, but I know they are in many parts of Europe. Great capture of the child's 'balancing act'. Of course Christmas is a favourite time for all children. Excellent shot of the clown. I have never understood why so many people find clowns creepy or scary.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mitch! It's always a pleasure...
DeleteLovely theme and great shots, Belita. Pretty centerpiece. I love the jeweled fruit.
ReplyDeleteI adore carousels. This one is very unique. I've never seen one with zoo animals. This is too cool!
I love the boy walking along the base of the wall or statue. He has such lovely blond hair doesn't he? He reminds me of my son, David.
Poor clown! He really does look sad!!! Is he wearing a blanket around his shoulders? It looks like he has stopped for a rest during a tiring parade.
I love all of your photos. Always so artistically done. My favorite is the boy. So natural!
Hi Debby! I really appreciated your comments...Many thanks!
DeleteThe centerpiece is very attractive and the elefant on the carousel if very original - great photo. Children are a reason for Christmas, but we no longer have children in the family - at least at the moment. I do not like clowns, but they make a nice colourful photo.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pat!
