hello, hi, gruetzi, guten Tag, bonjour, bongiorno,Здравствуйте, hola
It's Pat from somewhere in the middle of Europe called Switzerland and it is my turn to host Picture This for the week.  I was waiting for a bolt of lightening to strike me with a great idea for a theme but it did not happen so I had to think one out myself and here it is, just simple and plain 4 LEGS. Make what you want with it. I am sure you have some fantastic photos and ideas. Even a chair has 4 LEGS, a table, a piano perhaps and a desk And now here are my humble contributions

Even pigs want to get to the center of attention so here they are, living at the time at my friend's farm

Yes, we have cows in Switzerland, probably more than the human population, but we love them.

Picture This Challenge #181 - Scene/Seen on the Streets

Hello all. Joanne here and I'll be your host for this week's challenge. The theme I've chosen for this  challenge is Scene/Seen on the Streets. Photos taken of street scenes, people or objects seen while you were out and about. Most of my photos are landscapes or landmarks, so even I had to hunt for something to post!!! I know you all will have something good to show!

My first photo was something I came across in New Hope, Pennsylvania while walking and looking in windows of antique shops. This wasn't in the window - it was in an alley adjacent to the shop. Why? I have no idea!!!

My second was taken at Poole Harbor in Dorset, England while visiting Baz with Mitch:
Poole Harbor-12

And my last, a place where you'll never know what you'll see - Times Square in New York City:

The rules are over there on the right rail -------->. Looking forward to seeing yours!

TEST PHOTO......I HOPE!!!

This was taken from my brother's place in Arhoroha, just past Puhoi heading North in the North Island, New Zealand.

Going there tomorrow morning so will take photos of John and Joan's place plus whatever else I can find on the way there or back.

Horror of horrors, my younger brother who I have had nothing to do with  for many years is going to be there. He is a con-artist and prays on vulnerable woman. I can't stand him! I take it John gave him my phone number as he rang me and asked me to be there. I am so cross!

Fingers crossed this works.

PICTURE THIS CHALLENGE 180-A FRESH AND BOLD 2013

Waking up to a fresh new year, a bit blurry to say the least. But I think there are a lot in the same boat on this day.

RAP_7102

Now This is bold if you ask me! Jumping in a party frozen lake to start the year off. Hmmmm, was not my thing but enjoyed watching. LOL

RAP_7127

And then a fresh view of a bold one.

APOLOGIES TO ALL OF YOU ............

so sorry, have missed about 2 weeks of posts here, looks like all was motivated, inspired and busy bees with their blogging and writing.

have flu, yes, in summer, no idea, how or why or from where, feel dreadful, now on 5th day in bed, totally .................... cannot think or even try to summon up an intelligent comment to any of your lovely posts or try to share any of my Christmas or New year, somehow, it does not seem so important at the moment to share my every thought or picture with anyone.

in the dumps and dead tired, so back to bed I go, have to be fresh for Monday, when we have to reopen the business, where did that lovely, long anticipated 3 weeks go off to?

please do pray for my friend Les's husband, Hem , he has bravely fought the cancer now for over a year, but is quickly loosing the battle. He said to me on new year, when we spoke by phone, that the Lord must now please hurry up and either heal him or take him. He is so brave, so full of faith, but so very tired.

Love to all

Marianne
