Picture This 181 - Street Scene/Seen

First of all I was honoured to see my photo as a banner this week, so thank you Mitch and my blue tit is also very happy about being famous.

 Here we have a street scene in Solothurn, Switzerland

Dangenham Heathway, East of London, looking South towards the River Thames. You can see one of those windmills for energy in the distance, just near the Ford car factory.

    Three authentic Switzerland scenes.
    I had a short stay in Bern last summer, charming city, but was bit crowed.

    Love your photos Marcel. You are well traveled. I have visited most of these cities also. Loved them all

    Hi Pat!! Three great street scenes. Solothurn looks a lovely town, looks like the market gets rather busy. Bern also looks like a nice place. No mistaking the third shot was taken in England, it's such a typical scene, particularly the umbrellas!! LOL.

    Of all the places I've wanted to visit, and haven't (yet!), Switzerland is on the top of my list. Seeing your photos makes me want to visit even more. I've been to London, more than a few times, but not to the area in your photo. Lovely pics, Pat. Thank you for participating :-)

    Love all the three shots, Pat! Good your idea of posting two scenes on Swiss streets and one on a street in London... we can see the difference of atmosphere between the first two and the last..

    I have always heard that the air is fresh and clean in Switzerland and one can certainly sense the clean crispness in your shot's!
