I don't know why but I've been trying to drop comments on the several entries posted until now but when I click on 'Publish', they are not published. I hope I can succeed now. Mitch, I love your three photos! The top one is really a very nice shot... the reflections of the man - I think I know who he is - and the background are so clear in detail... That chipmunk - an animal I have never seen in real - perhaps was expecting to find some feed in that hand or was he in need of affection? The salad would be welcome at any season... Three senses beautifully shot. Thanks, Mitch!
Thanks for your very nice comments on my photos, Belita :-)) Yes, you guessed correctly...that is me reflected in the sunglasses. The chipmunk was probably hoping for a peanut, but he had already had some a few minutes before.
I think there is a general problem posting comments at the moment on blogger. While I've been able to comment on all the entries here so far, on some of my friend's own pages, I have had similar problems. On one page I had to try about eight times before it accepted the comment.
My pleasure, Mitch! Thank you for your explanation. Now, it seems there is no problem as I have already posted my comments on all the entries posted until now.
Wonderful picture of you and Joanne up top! The desert squirrel is touchable and I am also enjoying the texture of the pebbly desert floor contrasted with the soft hand. Great salad!
Thanks Benni :-)) The reflection in the first shot could have been centered better, but on the whole I was quite pleased with it. Those little chipmunks were so cute :-))
Love the reflection in the glasses of yourself. Sweet little chipmonk, you have caught him so well. and the salad looks very inviting. nice colour contrasts.
Brilliant shots all of them!!! Love the one of the little chipmunk. A tender moment well captured!! As for that salad, I could almost eat it ... it looks so real!! ~smile~ That shot of you in Joanne's glasses ... creates quite a meaningful sort of shot ....
I wish we had chipmunks here, they are so cute. Loves you shot of Joanne. LOL and self of course! That salad has reminded me I haven't had brunch yet and am still in my jammies. Yikes!
Thanks Shayna :-)) As you can probably tell in the reflection, when that shot was taken I was still using my smaller P&S camera, before I moved up to my current ultra-zoom bridge-camera.
Cool
ReplyDelete"Comesy, comesy."

Thanks Anders :-))

Thanks Lynne :-)) The salad was actually accompaniment to some tuna & mayo sandwiches, but photographically looked better by itself.
