  2. HI Marianne!! Good to see you posting again. That Vervet monkey look very soft and cuddly :-)) he cat looks more interested in other things than having it's photo taken. Great shot of the fundraising, world-travelling cow!!

    1. not cuddly at all, Mitch, there was another one with only 3 legs, that I had to post a complaint against, it was stealing food from the tables and then turned very nasty, when I tried to chase it, must say, was sure I would get attacked and bitten, so had to submit to him and back down, not a nice experience. Always a problem when humans and animals meet on human turf.

  3. Lovely monkey, almost human. A purrrfect cat. We have a lot of those cow sculptures in Switzerland. There was an exhibition and you could buy them afterwards. The lady around the oorner has one in her front garden, but in Switzerland they were not for charity, just to earn money with I think.

    1. Can I send you the cat, Pat? He is a pain in the neck, I don't really like keeping male cats, or dogs for that matter. Always a problem with them.*smile*

    1. no Amalie, it was the light that afternoon, under the trees, that coloured the photo green, everything taken on that site at the time, we stopped for lunch and a toilet break at the camp, in the gamepark, every photo is greenish, the grass was green and the canopy green and the light filtered through. The Vervet Monkeys are silver in colour, so very easy will pick up a funny light when shooting them.

    1. If you come to visit, you can always negotiate with the owners, will not fit in your suit case though, Shayna.

  6. Your photo of the Velvet Monkey is great. I'm a dog owner but people who have cats make the same statement about cats. They own you. I remember seeing Cows in Chicago several years ago. They were displayed throughout the city.
