Picture This Challenge 182 - Four Legs

hello, hi, gruetzi, guten Tag, bonjour, bongiorno,Здравствуйте, hola
It's Pat from somewhere in the middle of Europe called Switzerland and it is my turn to host Picture This for the week.  I was waiting for a bolt of lightening to strike me with a great idea for a theme but it did not happen so I had to think one out myself and here it is, just simple and plain 4 LEGS. Make what you want with it. I am sure you have some fantastic photos and ideas. Even a chair has 4 LEGS, a table, a piano perhaps and a desk And now here are my humble contributions


Even pigs want to get to the center of attention so here they are, living at the time at my friend's farm

Pigs at Anita's Farm

Two of my neighbours having a munch in the grass. There are stables just around the corner to where I live and you can even have riding lessons.

Yes, we have cows in Switzerland, probably more than the human population, but we love them.

    Good theme, Pat! Love your excellent photos of our 4-legged 'fellows'. I'm a pig in the Chinese Zodiac... so, my favourite is the top one...

    Hi Pat, thanks for hosting this week!! Bolt of lightning or not, I like your theme!! Plenty of scope for variety there!! I did a slight correction to the title to include the challenge number.

    Love all your shots. I think I like the first shot best, I love pigs. They may not be the most aromatic of animals, but they have a lot of character and are very intelligent. Lovely horse, particularly the dappled mare. That calf seems to be looking to see where mom is.

    All nice photos. Pigs are cute. I was raised on a small farm and we had hogs. Love the dapples on the horse.

    Great theme Pat and great photos.
    Looking at the pigs makes me wonder how we nasty people can eat them.
    The same goes for the beautiful calf.
    I can't eat beaf at all but sometimes I do have bacon. I don'teat lamb either.
    The horses are lovely I must say.

    This was a great theme and challenge. I am sorry to say your piggies are not only lovely, they look tasty. But they are very cute. That is a beautiful pastoral theme with the horses, and my favorite is the little cow.

    Great theme ... had me thinking as I have very few pictures of animals!!
    Love those little pigs ... and the calf. It would seem that you are surrounded by wonderful country air ... how beautiful!
