Many thanks to Joanne for hosting the challenge this week. And a good one it is, too!!
1) A quiet backstreet in Tenby, Wales.
2) A street in the English village of Corfe, Dorset. All the buildings, both old and new, are made of the same local stone.
3) On the streets of New York, someone is always watching you..........
Lovely street shots.
ReplyDeleteBig Smilie.
Thanks Anders :-))
DeleteYou're welcome, Mitch :))
Deletewonderful mitch just wonderul back in a flash
ReplyDeleteThanks Heidi.
DeleteVery nice shots, as always, Mitch! Quiet streets are charming and always pleasant to walk on them...Love your secod shot... I guess that Fox Inn is a comfortable one to stay in... Very cool smiling face...
ReplyDeleteThanks Belita. I do prefer quiet streets where there are not many people. Corfe is a beautiful little village with a magnificent castle nearby. Joanne and I were photographing it with Baz, who we were visiting at the time. We didn't actually go inside The Fox Inn that day.
DeleteHello, Mitchy
ReplyDeleteI am Sophie, used to be the member of PT on Mulitply, Mia's friend. Good to see PT on Blogger.
I like all three photos here.

DeleteI just use that email sent you a few words. :)
DeleteThat last one made me smile! The top two made me envious...would love to visit there. The black and white is quite nice, gives the photo a more solitary feel too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Danette :-) I love to explore and photograph old towns and villages like in the first two shots.
DeleteWales is a wonderful country and love your peaceful photo of Tenby. The stone buildings in Corfe and just wonderful, I think I grew up in the wrong part of the country. Great capture of Big brother watching you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat. Tenby isn't always that peaceful. During the summer months it gets clogged with tourists and there's no way you could get a shot of one of the streets so empty.
DeleteReally good quiet street shots, I like the atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteBig eyes watching! LOL
Thanks Marcel :-))
DeleteI don't think I have ever seen a street that not even a cat or dog are there, let alone people. Great shot Mitch.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Dorset on TV and would love to go there. That photo is shouting "welcome, welcome."
Now that is one huge M&M I must say. LOL
Hi Shayna. The shot of Tenby was taken in the quieter residential part of the town, there's nothing for the tourists to see there, so tends to stay quiet. The shot of the street in Corfe was taken just after a heavy rain-shower, so folks were still sheltering in the inn and nearby cafe :-))
DeleteAh, Tenby! One of my favorite places. Corfe was beautiful as well, and I'd like to go back one day, hopefully when the weather is better. I'd like to get up to the castle there. And what can I say about New York??? LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Honey, yes it would be nice to go back to Corfe on a dry day and actually get inside the castle :-))
DeleteAh love your pics
ReplyDeleteThanks Mel.
DeleteThere is something rather beautiful about old historical streets ... absolutely love that first one ..
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynne :-))
