  1. Old abandoned buildings are so sad and yet have a beauty of their own. The first one especially is marvelous to me; I love the unexpected. The thing that is out of place, yet makes the picture.

  2. HI Belita !! Three fabulous takes on Joanne's theme!! Each one of them has a little surprise. The first is like a window on the greenery beyond. In the second one there appears to be something new in the archway, perhaps a tent of some kind? And in the third shot the windows and shutters appear to be in good condition compared to the rest of the building.

the top one has lots of character, especially with the wooden piece resting there

  6. The first photo is really a wonderful contrast with nature looking through the window. The second is sad to think the house was abandoned and the third shows some good reflections in the windows, almost bringing the house back to life

  8. These three images are a great presentation of the theme. The first image contrasts the building with the foliage through the open window. The building in the second shot is interesting. What was the use of this building? Great reflection in the windows of the third image. It seems to give life to this building. I love the vines growing along the wall.
