THIS WAS TAKEN IN SOUTHERN FRANCE AT MOUNT MAJOR WHICH WAS ONE OF THE PALACES OF THE POPES WHEN THEY LEFT ROME AND HAS BEEN ABANDONED FOR A VERY LONG TIME

  1. Hi Heidi !! Three great examples for the theme!! The temples in Marina De Pisa look lie they are still in good condition. It would be good if they could be restored to their former glory. I don't think the beach chairs will have to wait too long for next time :-)) Good shot of the papal palace at Mount Major.

  5. Heidi, love the green fence and the picture reminds me of Florida waiting for me until next year. The top and bottom pictures are interesting. We just don't have stuff like that in the US.

  8. The temple in Pisa is in good condition. All of the seashores are abandoned in the winter. This image evokes the longing for the summer. This palace must have been the Pope's residence during the Great Schism. What's interesting about this image to me isn't the building but the man standing as a subject.

  9. Love the temple in Pisa. Here too, in winter, all the beaches and boardwalks are abandoned until Spring. Lovely photos :-)
