Congratulations, Benni, your photo of the week is really beautiful!
My interpretation of the theme nicely chosen by our good friend Danette
Quirky display at a room in a tea-house (Lisbon)
Door number hanging from the knocker (Lisbon)
Human statue levitating - seen in Lisbon downtown (I took the photo yesterday!)
Three fabulous examples of "quirky" Belita!! The top one makes me wonder what it means (if anything) to the artist. The middle photo is unusual however, you certainly know if you are at the right house or not before you knock on the door :) The last shot is fantastic, I wish I knew how they do that!
ReplyDeleteI have heard that he has a magnetic device under one of the sleeves....
DeleteHi Belita!! Three wonderful shots for Danette's theme!! That's a very odd look in the first shot. I guess you could say she's 'armless!! LOL. The second one made me smile, the house owner obviously has trouble with mail delivery!! My favourite is the third shot. It's amazing how he's doing that, but the funny thing is that everyone seems to be ignoring him!!
ReplyDeleteThat guy is often seen in downtown so it's nothing specially new to us...
DeleteI knew your images would be awesome before I looked Belita. I have always thought that many of your images have a "Quirkness" about them which I love, you have a real talent for capturing the unusual;) Beautiful work;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Baz, for your words...I had never thought my photos have a 'quirkness' until I read your comment. If you think so, it must be true...
Delete"Could somebody please call for a skilled surgeon."
ReplyDeleteCool door knocker
"Im floating on air."
Thanks, Anders!
DeleteHi, Belita, wonderful pictures. The levitating statue is perfect for Halloween; I see he is chained down, poor chap. Very nice door knocker and number. My favorite I left for last, it is on top. What a charming and quirky display. To me it is very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNo, Benni, he is not chained down at all. Perhaps you think so because of the angle of my capture of him. Thanks, Benni, for your words!
Deleteboa tarde belita, quirky as the living statues can be
ReplyDeleteCiao Nico! Grazie tante!
DeleteI love all three. the first and third are really something quirkily different.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pat!
DeleteWhat fascinating photos for this theme. They are all quirky.
