Oh wonderful and so worth the wait. I love the two gulls, they remind me of one of my favorite pictures, I am almost sure it is yours, of the 2 rocks. Something pulls me to those birds in the sand. I also like the one on the post and the little squirrel looking among the pines. Finally your picture of man and kite, so interesting and well-balanced, right down to the magenta in his shirt picking up the pink of the kite tail.
Hi Randall!! Great shots for the theme, as always. Love that first shot of the two gulls. One leg, no leg. LOL. Great contrast between the cream-coloured bird and the rusty pole in the second shot. Just chillin'. The chipmunk in the third shot seems to be looking for something. Those lil critters are rarely still for long!! Really nice photo of the kite 'in flight' in the last shot, over the guy who seems pre-occupied with something.
Hi Randall. These are great images for the theme. How patiently birds seem to roost. My favorites are the gull resting atop the piling and the man on the beach. There seems to be timelessness in his activity. He's showing how good it is to let go of his inner child.

ReplyDeleteLove the gulls, my favorite.
