Picture This #248 ~ Fields

I love the dog at the top, Pat.

Birches
Birches.

Goldenrod
Golden rod. There must be something that is pleasing about this color; so many of us have chosen pictures of fields with yellow.

  1. I just love those three photos.. The first has a good contrast at the edge of the field. I had almost a field of golden rod in my garden they do spread, but are a pleasure to see. Love the last field with the silky sheen of the grass.

  2. Hi Benni !! Three great shots for the theme. I like your 'wild' fields. The yellow/green combination in the first shot, and even more so in the second, is really nice. I love the waving grasses in the third shot, with the bonus of the bird in mid-flight.

  4. Thank you all. I am waiting for spring to come here; the fields now are still mostly brown, but they are starting to green up.

    1. Thank you so much, Anders. I find that there is much in common in the fields of your land and mine up north in Michigan.

  6. Hi Benni! Three beautiful shots... I love the field of grass and palms, the best.... It reminds me of woman's hair blowing in the wind...

  7. Wonderful shots, Benni! The birches in the field with the backdrop of the darker trees and the very dramatic clouds makes me feel like I'm back home in Georgia.

I absolutely love goldenrod. It may be just a weed, but I think it's so pretty. It grew in the millet fields beside our house in the country.

The last one if my favorite. I love the windswept grasses.

    1. Thank you, Debby! I love goldenrod as well, and it is so cheerful when I am walking in the late summer. And I am glad you like the one of Manasota Key. I love walking there best of all.
