Have been painting all day, hard work. But also got some pictures of my neighborhood. Will pop around in the morning to comment on yours.
Neighbor to my north.
Old tree, new building. Across the road.
Vacant lot across the road, home to deer and wildflowers.
Shed on my neighbor's property. Always hated it. Now it's gone. Pity.
Oh how wonderful benni so quiet and green wonderful thanks for taking time to show us around
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great theme.
DeleteWonderful house
ReplyDeleteLovely tree
Great shot of the forrest
Perhaps he has outgrown it.
Thank you Anders. An arborist (tree specialist) who examined some trees said he thought that tree was over 200 years old.
DeleteYou're welcome, Benni :)
DeleteYou live in beautiful surroundings. Love the blue flowers growing in the tree on the first photo. nice neat new building and an interesting vacant place - I'll take it, but too far away unforotunately. Love the tree trunk on the roof of the shed, good idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pat. The blue flowers are called Rose of Sharon.
Deletehi bennie, nice neighbourhood I see in your pics
ReplyDeleteMille grazie, Nico.
DeleteHi Benni !! Great shots for Heidi's theme. Really like the first shot, that neighbour has a lovely house and beautiful garden. Not so keen on the neighbour's house in the second shot....it looks a bit like a 'Chapel Of Rest' to me!! I like the vacant lot.....anywhere that encourages wildflowers and wildlife is good in my book. The last shot poses a major question. Did the tree grow up through the shed, or did it fall into it?
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, my pine tree broke off during an ice storm and harpooned the shed. My neighbor was in process of removing both when I took the picture. He was very gracious and declined my offer to help pay damages.
DeleteHi Benni! You live in a beautiful neighbourhood...easy to withdraw this conclusion from the photos you share on here. If I were an animal I wouldn't mind being a deer and would surely love wandering through those green areas. When we know we can't see any more what we had hated before we realize we miss it....
