PICTURE THIS #318 ~ CONTRAST/DIFFERENCE

Hi, dear members, Belita here feeling pleased to be hosting this week's challenge. Well, I have to admit that the choice of a theme hasn't been an easy task. Anyway, I hope you accept my choice: CONTRAST/DIFFERENCE. I understand it gives many possibilities to all of you to post awesome photos, as you do it, always...

My interpretations all taken in Portugal

The while flower and the brown background contrast sharply
CONTRAST/DIFFERENT
The shadow projected on the façade is much smaller than the part in the light. 
CONTRAST/DIFFERENCE
The red berry contrasts with the black ones
CONTRAST/DIFFERENCE
The style of the pair is quite a contrast to the style of the man and the woman depicted in the posters

    Hi Belita!! Many thanks for hosting this week. It's a very good theme, I had to give it some thought. You have given some very good examples. The white flower against the dark fence is an excellent contrast. A good light/dark contrast in the second shot. I really like the one of the berries, very good example. The final shot is an excellent contrast of old fashions and new ones.

      Hi Mitch! Your request is always welcome. Thanks fir your kind words. All the photos were captured during this Summer. The bottom one wasin Lisbon, and the others during my hiking days in Central Portugal.

    I think the first is a Datura and it makes a very good contrast with the background. Good shadows in the second photo against the white walls and an interesting shot of the berries in the different colours. The last one is an excellent composition.

    Belita, I love your little dog as the banner. The datura is gracefully beautiful against the wooden or metal fence. Wonderful alley way, and very juicy berries. Beautiful reflection on each berry. My favorite is the last one; so many contrasts to be seen. Incredible lines and so very expressive - all of them, the people and the man pictured.

    Hi Belita! Great theme and wonderful Photo of the Week! Love your Moonflower against the dark fence. A striking contrast!

    I love the stone walls and walk way in your second photo. Wonderful contrast in light and shadows as well as the wooden door ways set against the stone! I especially love the natural shape of the stone door step.

    Yummy berries, Nice contrast there.

    The last shot is my favorite! What a wonderful contrast!
