HI ALL, AND THANKS BELITA FOR HOSTING AND FOR A GRAND BANNER!!
STILL IN CALIFORNIA GOING INTO THE LAST WEEK THEN BACK TO EUROPE.
NOT MINE, BUT FOR THIS THEME GREAT.
MY HUBBY'S UNCLE TOOK THIS AROUND 1900 IN MONTERREY,MEXICO.
BROKEN BY THE WIND.
BROKEN IN SO MANY WAYS.
DAMAGED BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.
A MOST BEAUTIFUL 'BROKEN'.
Hi Heidi !! Great shots for this week's theme. Great old vitage car in the first shot, looks like it skidded off the road (if you can call that a road!!! LOL). Nice shot of the trees broken by the high winds. Third shot is a sad reflection of modern society.....there are always some who are left broken and uncared for. Interesting old building in the fourth shot.
ReplyDeleteWonderful car shot, something to be remembered. The trees are a very good shot with their bare branches. A scene not unknown in various towns unfortunately. Thos old buildings make intersting shots.
ReplyDeleteFabulous shots, Heidi, the top one is great! Thanks for posting it. Love the rest of your shots, the man (and his society perhaps) are indeed broken in many ways. The breakers of the sea provide some peace.
ReplyDeleteHi Heidi! Five good shots for the theme... that man's face clearly shows how he is depressed...poor man! Love those naked and broken tree branches... how wind can be strong and ruin nature! We can't forget the once loved things no matter their condition is... Beautiful waves striking on the rocks...
ReplyDeleteA good old car
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece of natural art
Indeed so true
It sure is!
Impressive foaming combers,
