Perhaps I have posted this before. I didn't alter the color of the moon in any way. It is orange due to smoke from wildfires 2000 miles (3,125 km) away. I see Heidi has also posted a shot of this effect.

Hi Benni !! Great shots for the theme!! Your first shot of the moon is beautiful, with the colour picked up from the smoke. Super capture of the gull against the stormy sky. You caught him perfectly. Wonderful crescent moon....can make out some detail even at this phase.
