Hi Belita!! Hope you had a good long weekend away? Great shots for Baz's theme. Are they tomatoes rotting in the first shot, or berries of some kind? Looks like an old gypsy caravan in the second shot. How sad it has become so neglected. Love the third shot, for some reason it reminds me of a western movie :-))
Oh yes, it was wonderful. Sunny all the time and good golfing. They are not tomatoes but wild berries. I have no idea that was an old gypsy caravan, but most probably it was. I took the photo at a farm in a region in Portugal where gypsies are often seen. The third photo was captured at the same farm.
Hi Belita, three wonderful shots. That bottom one is just fabulous; I could look at it all day. The sand and bands of color perfectly set off the two longhorn skulls. Wow. Love the tomatoes as well, and the gypsy (?) wagon.
Thanks, Benni! That blue colour of the band is typical in the south of Portugal. As I explained above, those are not tomatoes but wild berries that I saw at a forest in my neighbourhood.
They are great. Those berries are the best I have seen, They might be decaying but they have a wonderful intense colour. Love the old wagon and the two skulls are the dot on the i
Three great shots, Belita. I love the gypsy wagon. Wish I had it. Looks like a real fixer upper. Maybe I could get a good deal on it. I'm sure there's a lot of wonderful history concerning that little wagon. So sad that it's neglected, but it looks like the owners do care about it, and maybe plan to fix it up some day.
The cattle skulls and the berries are excellent examples of decay. That last one looks like a Georgia O'Keeffe painting.
Hi Belita, these are three great shots for the theme. My favorites are the gypsy wagon and the skulls of the cattle. The skulls seem to be in the southwest than in Portugal.
