Lynda's Picture This Challenge 177 - Water in Motion

Lynda's Picture This Challenge 177 - Water in Motion
hosted by Baz

Photo # 1
The most wonderful site to behold was seeing a rainbow just in front us us arching over the mountain road leading to the lake where we had planned to fish.  Look closely and you can see that it was a double rainbow.  And yes, we did look for that pot of gold.  It was raining and also the windshield wipers were causing some water in motion.

Friend Henry takes the power washer to the pickup.  It must have really been dirty.  Water in motion caused by a machine.

Photo #3
A sudden mountain rain storm hit our camp grounds.  In this photo Doc is playing in the running water.  Lots of water in motion -- rain and the temporary creeks flooding our camp grounds.

  1. Really nice shots, Lynda! Love the rainbow(s) shot... what a coincidence! Doc seems to be indifferent to the rain storm...

  3. Hi Lynda. I like all your shots. That's a great capture of the rainbows!! I've never seen rainbows so low to the ground before, they usually arch much higher than that. Also love the capture of the rain on the windshield. Nice shot of the water-mist coming from the power-washer. Doc doesn't seem all that bothered by the rain in the last shot. I guess he found it refreshing.

  6. That first shot is a stunner! I wonder why the horse has a mask on his head.

    1. The rain storm came very quickly. That is a mesh fly mask to keep the flies from bothering his eyes & can act as a sun shade. We also use it transporting the horses in trailers to keep any flying dust, etc out of their eyes.
