Hi all, Marianne here from a cool and windy, but sunny South Africa. Typical December weather with rain and thunder storms, you never know if you are going to be hot, cold or worse......... wet this month. Our major month of rain, which we always need badly for the catchment dams to take us through the dry winter months, so not moaning.
Being mushy brained at the moment ( no, don't say anything, I do know, at the best of times LOL) battled with a theme for this week, had to ask boss man for help
The Theme is SOFT ........... can be anything from soft toys or soft snow to soft light or soft beds or whatever soft you can think of .........I wish I had a soft ice , right now .......... *sniff* ........... your choice, how you want to interpret it.
You all know the soooo important rules. Only 3 photos please , watch your sizing, so page don't stretch and most importantly, please post from Flickr or Photobucket as we have limited space available here. Please do not upload directly from pc, camera or flashdrive. Copy and paste using said photo storage sites, using the HTML option on the blog.
Here is mine:
1. Santa's Beard is SOFT ( trust me , I know *smile*) :
2. My lunch today:.......soft juicy peach, papaya and banana with a delicious soft tangy cheese:
3. My darling, Her Royal Highness Princess Mousie Mouse is the softest cutest cuddliest cat :
I am posting early as today is our last official day in the office ( have to come back in next week Tuesday *groans*) ......... got things to do, people to see, places to go ............ hope to see all your "softies" over the weekend
Love you lots. Have Fun !!
Hi Marianne, many thanks for hosting this week!! I see you manage to get organised eventually!! ~ducks flying cucumber~
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of ~SOFT~. Great shot of Santa's soft beard. I wonder who that is under there?? Your lunch of 'soft' fruits looks really delicious!! Reminds me of those oh-so-far-off summer days. Her Royal Highness may be cute, but she has on her 'we are not amused by having a camera stuck in our face' look on!!!! LOL.
Oh I get by with a little help from my friends,
DeleteMmm,I get high with a little help from my friends,
Mmm, I'm gonna try with a little help from my friends.
Wonderful Challenge GF~!! I Love Santa's Bread. It sure does look Soft. That sure does look like a soft lunch. Her Royal Highness Princess doesn't look like she gives a Dittle-de-Swat if it's Soft or Hard, Giggle, Love IT~!! Smile~!!..Ohhhhhh Yes... Happy Birthday to Your Honey, Russell~!! I hope You were SOFT On Him today, Mmmmmm
ReplyDeleteyou are sooooo funny, Joy.
DeleteJust the perfect time to present Santa's Soft snow white beard.
ReplyDeleteYou prepared soft and light lunch, looks very healthy.
Ah! surely is a cute cat!
thank you Marcel.
DeleteCool photo of Santa. Soft beard and I also see very soft eye colour in a sweet face; love the whole meal... no high-calories; cats are my favourite pets so the cat photo is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteof course, Mousie is the favourite, she always is.
DeleteGood old Santa, a good shot showing him as a softie. Good angle on the soft fruit dish and Princess Mousie at her best. I am sure she is smiling for the photo.
ReplyDeleteshe was actually scowling at Bacardi, playing with a box behind us "keep quiet please during my photo shoot, please"
DeleteLOL great shots everyone Marianne I like em all;)
ReplyDeletethank you Baz
DeleteGreat shot of Santa.
ReplyDeleteA light repast.
"This is my good side."
*smile* tx Anders
DeleteThese are all lovely and a great variety. I want to jump in and take a slice of anything of that plate, whisper in Santa's ear and pet her Highness LOL!
ReplyDeletethank you Danette, hey leave my lunch alone though Santa is free and Mouse enjoys the attention *grins*
DeleteFor whatever reason photobucket takes a long time to update my resized photos (they came out huge!) I will try again tomorrow.
ReplyDeletetry Flickr instead, Danette, I found it much easier and faster once I got the hang of it.
DeleteWell, Marianne...:) I've never touched Santa's beard... but I believe you, it certainly is soft! Princess Mousie Mouse's hair is certainly "superlatively"
ReplyDeletesoft and your plate makes me think I'm far from my 5 pieces of fruit or vegetables today... when I'm busy with my pictures I don't even take the time to eat!
you have to eat !!! I constantly remind myself, I tend to forget too. Eggs, cheese and fruit are quick and easy.
DeleteGreat theme Marianne and great photos. As for princess Mousie I always want to cuddle her when I see her.
ReplyDeleteI know how to do the flickr thing so will be back for this one.
