I remember as kids lining up in the kitchen when Mom was cooking oysters, just so we could get some raw ones. Back then you got pearls from them in the jars.
Three awesome shots for the theme, Randall! Wonderful light in the first shot. I've never seen so many oysters as those pictured in the second shot. Frankly, oysters are one of the very few foods my taste doesn't accept. Was that photo taken at an oyster processing plant? The last shot is the first at my eyes...
Hi Randall!! Great shots for Belita's theme. Good shot of the one beach stroller going in the opposite direction to the others. Wow, that's a lot of oysters!! I don't mind them cooked, but can't eat them raw. Had to laugh at the third shot. I suspect his friends may have had something to do with this while he was sleeping off the beer!!
I love the first one, sort of strangers on the shore - lovely atmosphere. I have never eaten an oyster, although my dad had many when he was a young man, seems to be something quite common in the thirties. That is an interesting photo. And the third photo is unique.
Randall, these are great photos. My favorite is the last one with the guy covered in sand. I've never eaten oysters. The photo on the shore is beautiful. I like the tension with the solitary figure to the left and the rest of the figures grouped together.
Neat shots Randal. I really love the last one.
ReplyDeleteOysters i just can't bring myself to eat one.

ReplyDeleteYEs that is a seafood place where all the oysters are shucked and packaged. Some are sold up in front and a small restaurant.

ReplyDeleteHi, Randall, I love the atmosphere in your first shot, somewhat melancholy to me. Nice oysters and who is that fellow up to his ears in sand?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach shot.
ReplyDeleteBusy, busy.
