This is a fun theme. Wish I had more time to put into it. But with only a few grabs while working with out light. Meaning Nights, I was able to grab a few.
The first is moon and star light just as the night started and the moon and star dropped below the horizon.
The Next is an older one taken earlier this summer. It was as the sun was going down and I was laying out next to the chicken coop. Checking out and talking to the new chicks we started raising. "Sunset Light"
The last I don't think I showed here, but then again you may have seen it in other areas that I might have posted it. A rose in the shadows with just a little bit of sun light shining on it.
Now Once I wake up, I will be back and check out the other entries. Thanks for the great theme.
Wow beautiful moonlit night

Exquisite flower.
Hi Randall !! Good to see you here and taking part. Three fabulous photos for the theme. Love that first one of the crescent moon and star!! Wonderful shot of the back-lit chick through the wire. Great lighting in the shot of the rose.
ReplyDeleteHi Randall! I love your photos for this theme. The sliver of the crescent moon is marvelous and I wonder if the star is Venus. It has a mysterious feel that I like. I also love the outline of the chicken in the sun's last rays. My favorite is the exquisite shot of the burnished rose, absolutely magnificent.
ReplyDeleteYes that is Venus. Not sure the picture showed how it really looked to me. Thank you
ReplyDeleteHi Randall, I love that you were talking to the chickens. New life brings joy.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos,Randall. I like the evening photo with the crescent moon and Venus. I've tried to take night photos and never come close to this image. I like how there's light coming behind the chick. It's soft enough to illuminate it. The rose is beautifully done. Very nice.
ReplyDeletegreat shots Randall
ReplyDeleteThe last 2 images really catch me!!! I am not sure which I like better!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all three photos - the star and moon are perfect, the light caught through the chicken coop is really something different and a really different view of a rose.
ReplyDeleteAll the three are fantastic shots. My favourites??? The three!
ReplyDeleteHey Randall, I found the one that confused me. I took a picutre early evening of our crescent moon and star the other day, now of course I don't know when you shot yours, but to me it looked the wrong way round, tehn I saw the road and buildings and realised it was not. Does the crescent moon and evening star line up like that by you and the other way around by me?? Please go look see what I mean, would love to know.
