Picture This #215 ~ Red

Congrats, Benni, on a terrific photo! It makes a beautiful header.


I had to search through all my photos to find anything red. Its not a color, natural or otherwise, that you see a lot, let alone photograph. I did come up with three though.
The "paddle" on the paddlewheel boat ride on Lake Mead in Nevada:

    I love the angle of the paddlewheel boat in your first picture. Really interesting against the navy blue water. I also enjoy looking at that red tractor with the contrast of the green and blue. My favorite is your stunning photo of the red leather barber chair. It looks like I could walk into the picture and back to the 19th century. Nice,all three.

    Hi Honey!! Glad you found some photos for an entry. Three great ones, too!! I remember well the trip on the 'Desert Princess' that day on Lake Mead. It was a really hot day!! Good shot of the paddle-wheel. Nice modern tractor in the second shot. Love the old barber chair!! A flashback to the days of the cut-throat razor!!

    Hi Joanne, love all of your photos. That's a good angle shot of the paddle wheel. Good photo of the tractor in the field. My favorite is the barber chair. It's in a rustic setting too.

    Wow to your first photo. I suffer from vertigo and bet I would have felt like I was going to fall in. Brilliantly done.

    They are really three individual photos. the first is a great angle on the paddles of the boat - hope you didn't have to lean out too far. A lovely tractor and I find the barner's stool is a great capture (thought it was a dentist's chair at first).
