Hi Heidi !! Three lovely shots for this week's theme. I like the snowdrops in the first shot. I haven't seen any of those here, although the other Spring regulars, like Daffodils, are out. I feel I should know the name of the flower in the second shot, it's very familiar, but I just can't think of it!! Wonderful mellow Forsythia in the third shot :-))
Three very beautiful flowers, Heidi! Love the second flower that in Portugal we call it 'gaillardia'. Love that yellow and red... very bright colour combination!
The snowdrops are lovely. They look like little angels, don't they?
ReplyDeleteLove the red and yellow of the second flower. Is that a Mexican Sunflower?
The forsythia is absolutely glorious!
Loved all three shots. All pics r simply fantastic.

ReplyDeleteHi Heidi, gorgeous pictures, the bottom one reminds me of the poem (by Frost perhaps) "Nature's first green is gold . . ."

ReplyDeleteThe second one we call Vygies in Afrikaans, I recognise the succulent leaves behind
