Hi Belita!! All excellent photos for this week's theme. Great shot of the little sparrow in the first photo. I also like all the detail of the roof-tiles and the lichen growing on them. Love the sun-glow on the bird and the flowers in the second shot. A very handsome rooster in the third shot. The turkeys in the last shot look like they're hoping it's not Christmas yet!!! LOL.
Hi Belita! I hope those poor turkeys are not being fattened for the table but I bet they are. Well, they are tasty. I like the brilliant colors of the bantam rooster, strutting his stuff as they say. The picture of the bird on the red flower is wonderful and inspires me to look around here for bird pictures. As your pictures of people do, you show not only the subject but also the environment and that always enchants me. So finally the little sparrow on the roof tile, magnificent is all I can say, it is my favorite, very special.
Wonderful texture and colors in those first three shots, Belita. I just love, love, love that second one!
That rooster is a handsome fellow. The red/yellow feathers against the black is a striking contrast and that comb is something else!!!
Poor turkeys! I feel sorry for them. We had them wild and free in Jackson, GA. I'm leaning more and more toward vegetarianism these days. Great shot, but so sad seeing them waiting to be slaughtered.
