Congratulations, Heidi, for the colourful photo of so many sachets!!
Lisbon, like many other European cities, has been having a long winter: rainy weeks after rainy weeks and no sunshine for many straight days. This winter, a common street scene has been seeing people carrying an umbrella. The weather has been very unsteady. Cloudy in the morning, heavy rain in the afternoon...
Foggy day by the seashore...
On very few days, rain took a break ...
Hi Belita!! Three good takes for Baz's theme. The first two shots are definately not what I'd usually associate with the area you live in. The third one is more like it, although even there people have heavier clothes than you'd expect. That little coffee outlet seems like a nice place to stop when the weather IS good.
ReplyDeleteQuite wonderful shot of the old man
ReplyDeleteVery romantic. And the dog is out to catch the big un'
Peace and "quiet".
very nice belitta
ReplyDeleteHi Belita, I love your photos. The first is very nice of mostly black and white and grey, with the green "walk light" as an accent. Love the couple in the middle photo, my favorite. And I smile at the outdoor cafe scene, those days are rare and lovely. Nice red kiosk.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures everyone my friend ;)
ReplyDeleteThey all say Belita shot me and all fantastic. The cafe scene makes me want to go out for a coffee and I just got back home from getting my groceries. Never thought of stopping for a coffee. In fact, will go and make myself one now. :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Belita! I especially love the one of the couple strolling along. I love the bright red kiosk in the last.
ReplyDeletethree very good shots. Life in Portugal seems to have a calm feature about it, even when the weather does not do what it should.
