Picture This #249 ~ White, Grey And Black

Beautiful, majestic mountain vista in the banner by Randall.

Welcome and greetings from Sweden. This week I've been given the honour of hosting and my chosen theme is White, Grey and Black. In our colourful word these three have in many ways been put on the backburner. But quite a lot of photographers are still working in black and white. This usually does lend a certain authenticity to the photo. Hope you all will enjoy this challenge and come up with wonderful ways of portraying the theme. Best Anders.

  3. Hi Anders !! Many thanks for hosting at short notice!! Great theme, I love B&W. I like your three very 'minimalist' shots. I think the first one is my fave, although I'm intrigued by the second shot....it has texture, but you can't tell what the whole object would look like.

  4. Great theme this week Anders! I will have to take a stand back from the yard work and put the camera to work for this one. I spent the whole day cutting down tree starts yesterday, so this is a good excuse to have a play day.

  7. Hi Anders, great theme! You are right, working in B/W gives a whole different perspective to pictures. I especially like your top shot; the design is one that I have seen in art from several diverse cultures. Nicely done.
