First, let me thank Baz for his theme, a fascination for him and also for me. Picture This is at 250 themes just on Blogger; congratulations to Mitch and his co-hosts for all the work in making this site a weekly treasure.
I am also very flattered to have my pearls as the banner, thank you to all who complimented me on them.
In my files are so many pictures of doors and windows, I needed to be careful not to duplicate. Here are some I do not think I have shown before.
A green glass vase, hand blown in Venice, Italy, a gift from my late mother-in-law. I will always treasure it.
This is from Florida, the view out my window to the lights across the water. I really could have used a tripod, but couldn't bring one on the plane.
This is a lazy picture; sitting on the couch, looking at the green buds out the window.
Beautiful crystal and ligth
ReplyDeleteA bit impressionist
Wonderful shot of the reflections
Thank you, Anders, you are very kind.
DeleteYou're welcome, Benni :)
DeleteHi Benni! You always show us something different from the usual which I really love. That's the case of the top and the bottom photos. Very creative, indeed!
ReplyDeleteHigh praise, thank you.
DeleteHi Benni !! Picture This is 250 themes in total, not just on Blogger. That's from when it first started way back on Multiply. Three wonderful shots for the theme. I love the green 'shadow' of the vase, it shows a lot of fine detail that is not apparent on the vase itself from that angle. Nice take of the 'lights across the water' in the second shot. Great creativity in the third shot!! Perfectly captured image of the window and what lies beyond without even pointing the camera at the window!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mitch. And thank you for using my pearls as the banner shot. Any way you want to look at it, 250 is a great accomplishment, and I very much appreciate the work.
DeleteWonderful shots Benni all are super especially the night one love it
ReplyDeleteand yes those pearls are soo great
Thank you, Heidi. I loved looking at those lights.
DeleteWonderful captures Benni, everyone but the first is my favorite ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Baz. Interesting things do happen when you play with light.
DeleteThe first is really astonishing how you caught the reflection of the green glass vase on the white wall. The second is interesting and I think without the tripod you have a good effect. I like your upside world in the third,
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pat. I think now that Tom has a cousin in Florida, we will ship the tripod down so I will have it.
