Picture This #262 ~ Pot Luck

Hi, this is Benni, your host for this week's Picture This. We had a wonderful theme last week, "Stone Soup", and I am going to follow it up with "Potluck". For this theme, you may post any pictures you wish, maybe especially those which don't easily fall into another category. Or those which you have posted before but would like to post again. Or any picture at all, as this is where any and all goes.

Here are my three:

Superior Island
A small island in Lake Superior, Canada.

Cat in Sun
My cat in the sun.

Garment, slip
A delicate vintage slip, mid-1900's.

    Nice theme, Benni! That first shot is spectacular.

    The cat looks so comfortable lying there (on the bed?) in the sun. Curling up to have a nap. Looking at it makes me sleepy! A very sweet shot.

    The slip is lovely.

      Thanks, Debby! That island appears in so many of my photographs; it's a favorite place. Kitty is on a comforter on the (her) sofa.

    Hi Benni !! Many thanks for hosting this week. Great theme, I think folks do like a 'free' theme once in a while. Also, there's no excuse not to take part!! LOL.

    That first shot is just stunning!! Really beautiful. Sweet shot of your cat. They always find the sunny spot. Lovely delicate lace in the last shot.

    Hi Benni! Thanks for the choice of the theme for this week, which made me not spend much time to post.
    I really like the diversity of your three shots. All are very good... each one for a specific reason at my eyes... the silhouette of that small island makes my imagination fly high, awesome light in the second... I resume the cat was playing with it... the third evokes some nostalgia....
